Eureka!!! *I hope*

I think I have finally recuperated, loool. I think the whole issue, apart from succumbing to routine(I think I need to get married to spice up my life a bit, lol), is that I have lost sight of my goals.
Hence & thankx to Kage Shinobi from Elnadi, I have reorganized My-To-Do-list & I will put it on the side-bar so I can always remind myself whenever I go astray.

Furthermore, I came across 2 thought-provoking quotes, which I couldn't pass by without mentioning them.

1- An artist by the name of Dr. Kimberly stated that " The seed of ignorance can only root in the arid terrain of a dogmatic ideology". Her words remain engraved in my memory.
Obstinance and the arrogance & inflexibility to keep an open mind vis-a vis other people's viewpoints & ideologies, even if you don't agree, becomes a breeding ground for distorted perceptions. Duh!!!

2-In an old song entitled "Respiration", Talib Kweli, one of my favorite rappers, stated: " It's a paradox we call reality. So keepin it real will make you casualty of abnormal normality."
Twisted yet true!

Woohoo!

Welcome back to the virtual world of debating outcasts and misfits! :)

About the Kimberly quote: there's a Discordian adage - "When dogma enters the mind, thought exits" ;)

Long live and prosper! Or better yet - Pong live and lrosper!

Good to have you back, I was getting worried. :-)

Married ? plz wait awhile. Then all your talent will go down the crib, and the world will be at loss.

" The seed of ignorance can only root in the arid terrain of a dogmatic ideology". Careful now, you don't wanna insult Islam ? Just kidding.

*Hipster takes a deep breath before she embarks on the battle of the truth* Don't you just miss the time when the answer was yes OR no, black OR white, not both ?

God is great, so you say every day. Isn't it strange, the more you know Him, the greater He gets ?

[Sorry, it's late, I'm rambling. Gotta get my beauty sleep]

HH, as always, it's a pleasure to read your comments:)

"Married ? plz wait awhile. Then all your talent will go down the crib, and the world will be at loss."

loool, chk my condition(s)for marriage in my To-Do list on the side bar:)

"The seed of ignorance can only root in the arid terrain of a dogmatic ideology". Careful now, you don't wanna insult Islam ? Just kidding."

Good one! But like you once said to Raccoon, when one finds the "truth that out-truths all truths", one becomes eager to share it with the world;)Sharing it but with an open, tolerant mind & a big heart:)

"*Hipster takes a deep breath before she embarks on the battle of the truth* Don't you just miss the time when the answer was yes OR no, black OR white, not both ?

Yup *sigh*

"God is great, so you say every day. Isn't it strange, the more you know Him, the greater He gets ?"
:))) Absolutely true.
Everytime you think you have reached a point where you have finally understood him, you realize that this point is only the beginning of another journey!

HH, I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide me with your email address. There is something I would like to send to you.Don't think I'm loco or anything but you popped in my head while I was reading Quran the day before I left to Egypt & I've been meaning to tell it to you since. It's prayers-related:)

Last but not least, I want you all to know that, despite the spiritual things I say in my posts, I'm not really that knowledgeable & well-versed in my religion & I have so many things to learn.I commit many sins & my faith is constantly fluctuating but I'm trying & I guess it's all a part of being human:)

Hipster, for most people being constantly on the edge of uncertainty is better than the alternative. :)

Certainty can merely mean static, closed-minded, unlearning, and at times fanatic.

And he who thinks he knows everything truly knows nothing, for it means that even that which he is certain of, he ends up degrading.

This from another religious individual who does his best to learn, even though it would require several hundred years for me to read all the books Jewish religious scholars wrote. ;-)

Mind, one of the greatest things I learned is the following: "seventy faces to the Torah."

Which is to say, seventy different people may read the same text, yet understand it in different ways.

And all of them may be right, all of them may be true. They may contradict each other at face value, but they do not. Not where it matters. It is simply beyond our understanding here and now how this can be.

RK, your words come as a soothing balm. You always know what to say.Bless you, bro:)

Thanks, and don't mention it. :-)

Hipster, I'd be much honoured. Drima has my e-mail address. Looking 4wd 2 hear from you.

RK, you hit the nail. Certainty solidifies a mind. And then it stops growing. And they you're old....

Thankx:)

I see the lack of mental/spiritual improvement as death, really. All that's left is a human body, just going through the daily routine, always thinking the same thoughts, never changing.

It goes against what I see as the central aspect of life. The improvement of self, and thus becoming closer to God.

Without change, the spirit dies. And change entering such an atrophied mind is a resurrection...

RK, well-said.
I agree 100%.

How come you don't have a blog?

Roman Kalik said...

Laziness, lack of time, lack of a steady internet connection (which forces me to use my mobile phone to write this very reply ;) ). I think that once I can afford even the basicmost internet package (I'm living off a scholarship at the moment) then I'm likely to start a blog.

Until then, I shall do my best to write my replies anywhere my curiosity leads me. :)

All the best,bro:)

I'm glad my blog arouses your curiousity:)))
